Allegra Lopez, Pilates Instructor PMA® - NCPTAllegra has had the pleasure of teaching at Mind Your Body since 2006 and is our pre/postnatal specialty instructor. She teaches a variety of clientele, ranging in all levels, and is often found doing her own Advanced Practice in the studio. Allegra is a client favorite and books rather quickly because she focuses on specific alignment, body awareness, and developing core strength, and encourages this to be part of daily life. She has a hands-on approach, supportive, patient, yet persistent.

Arielle Medina, Pilates InstructorArielle wants her clients to build a movement vocabulary for everyday exercises that can help in their daily routines. She is a living testimony to Pilates; seeing how her body has changed throughout every stage of her Practice. She wants all of our clients to have a better sense of body awareness after each session/class. Arielle is your “cheerleading” instructor who celebrates your biggest and smallest achievements together. Classically and formerly trained as a student of Pilates, she will take you through the steps needed to help you achieve your goals and go far beyond your movement expectations.

Fosca Tezzat, GYROTONIC® InstructorFosca was the youngest certified GYROTONIC® graduate, at age 17! She enveloped the GYROTONIC® technique as a student in Venice, Italy until New York City became her home. Fosca’s experience as an instructor is diverse, with students’ age range from 14-88. She enjoys teaching dancers, athletes, those recovering from injury, the elderly, those with physical disabilities, and those who simply enjoy the movement. Fosca enjoys witnessing her clients enhance their physical stage, while also benefitting from expanding their bodies through movement.

James Duus, Pilates InstructorWhile working with James, one can expect to focus on the basic fundamentals of physical fitness. He encourages broad concepts and increases the details with practice. James guides each client with a hands-on approach to help releasing and letting go while working for maximum results free of tension. James has enjoyed his twelve years at Mind Your Body and his warm, positive demeanor makes it easy to keep a consistent Pilates practice. James is trained in Activated Isolated Stretch and with approval, will convert a Pilates lesson to an AI session.

Jillianna Richcrick, Pilates InstructorJillianna's love for Pilates is supported by her passion for education. Clients can expect a challenging but safe full body workout at any level, as Jilly will adapt to a client's specific needs or "body mood" for the day, and work toward one's farthest goals. With Jilly, our clients are reminded to enjoy the physical journey, that the mind control precedes muscular control. Jilly holds several trainings and also loves Mind Your Body’s family spirit and devotion to Continuing Education. Jilly is a consummate athlete and former dancer, and her work reflects her dedication to the serious athlete or the novice.

Lois Steinig, Pilates InstructorTrue to the Pilates method, Lois connects the mind control over muscles. Lois’ devoted instruction will help you focus your mind on the precision of the exercises. She will lead you to a road to health and an avenue to love your body. Lois has specialized training in post-operative for breast cancer awareness through the "Pink Ribbon Program." Lois finds that teaching Pilates is her calling. She is also trained in myofascial release and Pre/Post Natal exercise.

Melissa Nichols, Pilates InstructorMelissa has over two decades of experience utilizing Pilates to heal her own injuries, recommended by a physical therapist. Today, she is injury free! She is trained in STOTT, a contemporary method, and includes essential thorough advanced workouts. She's also trained in special populations, Pilates for golfers, the cardio trampoline, and Pilates for men. She is dedicated to improving her clients’ strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. Melissa is currently training with Gail Giovanniello, MYB owner, on the Cadillac.

Scout Inghilterra, GYROTONIC® InstructorScout is a native New Yorker teaching GYROTONIC® at MYB studio. She found GYROTONIC® when she was experiencing lower back pain and through training, her pain was greatly improved. She hopes by working with her clients, they too can strengthen supporting muscles and deepen their bodily awareness through space. She works with a broad range of clients from young dancers to older adults. Scout is patient and teaches from a Basic level to allow you to improve and progress at your pace.
