I can’t say it any other way. Pilates is about focussed, fluid exercises designed with an intelligent order that keeps you limber and strong from the inside and out!!

And for those who have had a negative experience or think it was not a workout, contact me. I would like to change that…. Not everyone LOVES Pilates but if you were turned off by your experience, I know that I can turn it around. Pilates is just too good to get a bad rap!
Sure, one should continue to do cardiovascular workouts such as spinning, outdoor cycling, kick boxing, running, indoor equipment, but Pilates is a must for spinal health, breath control, flexibility, balance and an all around sense of well-being. ok…..check the article. Mind Your Body Pilates is a great place for GYROTONIC and PILATES group classes and private, personal lessons. Gail Giovanniello and the Mind Body staff are so awesome and the studio is beautiful and organized. If you are going to do Pilates on the upper east side of new york, this is such a perfect option. The variety of Pilates Tower and Reformer classes is very good and the price of group Pilates classes makes it very affordable! Also, being able to sign up on-line is very convenient. I recommend Mind Your Body Pilates and GYROTONIC highly!
It’s been one year now that I have been faithfully attending pilates classes at Mind Your Body Pilates…and I am hooked. My posture has improved and my chronic knee pain has disappeared. I have been taught to really hone in on the different muscle groups and now make a more conscious effort in noticing how I move in every day life. Another unexpected benefit? It’s been a great way to deal with stress, and I have even come to scheduling Pilates classes on my most intense work days. I think/hope I will be practicing pilates forever.
